With Translytics Inhouse advanced algorithms in Logistics Optimization and Data Analysis, they could realize: INR 25L + per month Saving through Freight analysis from only 3 Locations Areas of Focus Translytics team collaborated with the organization to understand their pain areas, upon data analysis and further discussion following focus areas were identified. FGS (outward), RMS (inward) & OSP freight spend Analysis for multiple locations. GAnalysis of transportation data for per unit measurement like - cost of transportation per Kg, cost of transportation as % of invoice value. The calculation be carried out on per month, per customer and per transportation lane basis. Solution Approach Translytics analysed transportation data to understand the trends in transportation costs and freight spends for multiple locations. We identified the KPIs and done the benchmarking for Logistics cost. Further reviewed the consolidation policy at different location, using inhouse algorithms we revised the consolidations norms and optimized overall logistics costs. Impact 25L+ Savings were achieved per month from only 3 locations. Data Validation and Data Analysis were conducted and the results were shared with the Management. Many data improvements were suggested like multiple names for same transporters found, actual delivery dates missing, gross weight entries are missing/ wrong, express, non-express entries wrong.
